Autumn Open Day: Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the Autumn Open Day, the largest of the year, with every faculty taking part and campus tours running from morning until late afternoon.

Open days are the best way to judge a university — to walk the campus, sit in on a taster lecture, and ask current students the questions a prospectus never quite answers. Attendance is free and includes lunch.

What the day includes
Visitors touring the campus on an open day
Campus tours run throughout the day, led by current students.

The programme is designed so you can build your own schedule around what matters to you:

  • Subject talks and taster lectures from all nine faculties
  • Guided tours of halls, the library, labs and the students union
  • One-to-one sessions with admissions and funding advisers
  • A chance to meet current students and society representatives

I came to an open day not really expecting much, and left having decided. Standing on the campus made the difference — you can just tell whether a place fits.

Places are limited and tend to fill before the deadline. Register early through the Admissions page to secure your spot and reserve a place on the faculty talks you most want to attend.
